Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary: The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing timely, caring, appropriate, and skilled physical therapy intervention by evaluating/assessing, planning, goal setting, providing treatment and assessing the patients response to treatment for patients of all ages. The Physical Therapist, working as a member of the interdisciplinary team collaborates and coordinates treatment plan and goals with other disciplines including Nurses, Physicians, et al.
Qualifications
Responsibilities: Education Required
Must complete in-house orientation program
Graduate of an accredited college degree program in Physical therapy.
Entry level Bachelors or Masters degree
Experience And Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Speaks, reads and writes English
BLS recommended for inpatient PT.
BLS required for SMART Center PT.
License/Certifications
New York State license in Physical Therapy
Working Conditions

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
Prolonged standing and walking.
Moving in multiple positions (sitting, squatting, reaching).
Able to lift, move and assist patients with physical therapy.
