Description:

The purpose of this position is to support the Administration of Baptist Health South Florida with the provision of a safe and secure environment for the care of patients and the peaceful and orderly operation of business throughout all entities serviced. To be proficient in all aspects as a BHSF security officer as provided for and by the BHSF security training program and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Estimated pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.77 / hour depending on experience.

Schedule is Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience required. Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support Drivers License from Florida Additional Qualifications: Experience in the field of security with a preference in a hospital setting. Law enforcement or military experience desired. Required to complete BHSF security training program before the completion of their probationary period and supplemental training classes as they are offered.
