Marketing Specialist

South Metro Federal Credit Union – Prior Lake and Shakopee, MN

South Metro Federal Credit Union is excited to add an experienced Marketing Specialist to our fast growing and successful credit union team. SMFCU has locations in both the Prior Lake and Shakopee areas.

This person will be a KEY member of our Member Services team and will be responsible for a wide variety of duties in support of South Metro FCU's credit union objectives, corporate growth and goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Create and manage communications including all material for campaigns and promotions, targeted emails, brochures, newsletters and blogs, new materials, direct mail and statement stuffers.
• Identify appropriate marketing channels for the most cost-effective promotions to grow our brand and business, while maximizing ROI, this includes designing, targeting, executing, measuring, and reporting.
• Implement social media strategies to promote the Credit Union and stay on top social channels, trends, and reporting tools. Monitor social media and online channels on a regular basis. Ensure all content meets compliance standards and regulations.
• Assist in identifying and evaluating community outreach events in a manner that builds and enhances positive relationships with key audiences.
• Work with branches to establish and maintain relationships. Coordinate meetings, events, and efforts for branches as needed.
• Assist in managing community requests for sponsorships, giveaways and donations.
• Maintain business listing and reviews on Google.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 1-3 years related experience.
• Previous experience in marketing is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment with conflicting and changing priorities.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and self-directed with great initiative; able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient PC skills – Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, MS Word, MS Excel & MS PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and ability to multi-task.
