ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Elementary classroom teachers are responsible for instruction and supervision of students. This includes differentiating instructional plans, establishing effective classroom management, and maintaining knowledge in subject areas taught and Oregon state standards. All South Lane School District teachers must meet the standards of Competent and Ethical Performance as outlined in Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR 584-020-000 to 584-020-045). In addition, London School teachers establish an inclusive and positive learning environment that promotes a high level of achievement for all students while considering the background and developmental level of each student. This is demonstrated by appropriate curriculum design, instructional practices, and student progress assessment.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants must have a current and appropriate Oregon Teaching License. All candidates must have training and/or experience with integrated curriculums, technology skills, collaboration and teaming skills, and be able to employ a variety of instructional strategies. Consideration will also be given to teachers with Science of Reading knowledge and training.
Salary
Salary will be determined by the teaching experience and degree level in accordance with the current salary schedule.
