Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and possess a strong background in behavioral health and patient care.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist in developing individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and progress tracking
- Utilize crisis management techniques when necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of behavioral management techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient care
- Ability to implement behavior plans effectively
- Crisis management skills for handling challenging situations
- Background in social work, addiction counseling, or related field is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
