South Jersey Radiology and Larchmont is Hiring a Mammography Imaging Lead - Take your career to the next step! Near Mount Laurel, NJ

Job Summary: The Imaging Lead will collaborate with Division and center leadership and other cross functional teams to support US Radiology’s clinical standards across the region. Manages the region float technologist staff, ensuring appropriate staffing and coverage levels are maintained. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care. Interested applicants must be registered in Mammography, have expertise in the field and be willing to travel to multiple sites in Southern NJ (commuting distance). Duties/Responsibilities:
Creates a positive patient and customer experience by representing the US Radiology Way
(70%) Project and Business Management
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and support quality assurance checks and ensure clinical standards are held
Collaborates with Modality COE on the development of best practice guides, manuals, and materials, and disseminates throughout US Radiology
Provides expertise and owns accreditation process with support from Lead Technologists
Provides direct supervisory authority as leader for all float technologists within region
Develops and maintains positive relationships with Radiologist partners to collaborate on protocols, sequencing, etc.
Collaborates with Center and Division leadership to ensure US Radiology clinical standards are held across the region
Monitors region key performance indicators for standards of quality, patient access, and financial performance
Performs regular center visits, within in region, and rounding to ensure high standards of quality care are maintained
(25%) Team Supervision
Assists in the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process
Manages the training and onboarding of new float technologists
Monitors and approves timecards
Develops and mentors technologists and ancillary team members
Participates in technologist performance evaluations and on-going development of technologists including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary
Act as primary point of escalation for clinical challenges and escalating particularly complex issues to Regional or VP of Operations
Assists in or establishes float technologist pool schedules to provide for planned time off, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adequate department coverage
(5%) Completes other tasks and projects as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
Knowledge of current technical skills and procedural understanding to perform a full range of scanning procedures
Knowledge of and adherence to ALARA principles
Knowledge of basic level computer skills
Ability to operate and adjust scanning and ancillary equipment
Skill in organizing and prioritizing work and following assignments through to completion
Skill in written and verbal communication
Ability to take initiative to improve processes, think strategically and identify trends
Ability to provide open, honest feedback to improve decision making
Ability to maintain and build constructive relationships that produce results
Ability to effectively supervise non-exempt staff
Ability to lead in a manner consistent with USRS’ and the Departments values

Education and Experience:
Graduate of 24-month AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
3-5 years previous experience in an advanced imaging modality
IV credentialed if applicable
BLS certification
Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting: up to 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
