Every other Monday 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm at Mount Laurel
Wednesday 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm at Willingboro
Thursday 4:30 pm - 9:00 pm at Willingboro
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Escort patients from main waiting area to department for studies
Review and verify patient’s information for accuracy
Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA and Corporate Compliance regulations
Have patient change; if indicated for study
Daily computer keyboard use
Monitor modality work list
Print and/or scan documents into patient accounts
Keep the work area stocked, orderly and clean
Release images to patients when necessary
Communicate information to radiologists, technologists, patients and referring physician offices
Cross train in other department as support staff
Display a well-groomed professional image
Punctuality and regular attendance
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a medical setting preferred
Detail oriented
Ability to multitask in a busy work environment
Good computer skills
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, their family members, co-workers, and referring physicians’ offices
Physical Demands of the Position – Position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and reaching during scheduled shift. Assist patients on and off exam tables. Working Conditions – Indoor office setting with daily patient contact. There is the potential of exposure to blood and other body fluids.
