Job Description:

• Assist in providing process engineering and production support
• Able to fully understand a process flow of an area and recommend opportunities of continuous improvement and see the project life cycle through inception to fruition
• Assist in troubleshooting of equipment and processes
• Assist in conducting and implementing KPI’s that monitor productivity, yields, product and process performance
• Assist in implementing SOP’s to ensure equipment is being used efficiently and safely
• Assist in managing multiple projects at the same time
• Assist in the managing of a roughly 50-person team across 3 different shifts
• Able to handle hiring/terminations, timecards, time off requests, ensuring individuals show up to work consistently and on time and other various personnel aspects of management
• Able to abide and ensure all GMP and safety standards are met and followed

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3-5 years experience in engineering, manufacturing, food processing or management preferred
• Engineering, science or technical degree relevant to manufacturing processes
• Prior management experience preferred but not necessary
• Able to analyze and interpret data
• Teamwork and collaboration oriented
• Hands on and initiative driven
• Knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Power BI
• Time management
• Organization
