South Forsyth Animal Hospital is a small, three-doctor canine and feline animal hospital located in Cumming, Georgia, just inside the Forsyth County line. Our goal is to provide our patients with top-quality medical care in a supportive, friendly environment.

We are seeking to employ a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and compassionate veterinary assistant who loves animals. Candidate must be able to multi-task and work with a team in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Candidate should understand animal restraint and be able to assist doctors and technicians in exam rooms. Loyalty to our practice and our clients is a MUST!

Job entails animal restraint, cleaning of animal housing areas, and minor patient care such as feeding and walking patients as well as custodial duties and performance of routine maintenance throughout the hospital. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Candidate should be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.

We are looking to hire full or part-time. The hospital is open for a half-day on Saturday so the candidate must be able to work Saturdays. South Forsyth Animal Hospital employs approximately 15 staff members and features a well-equipped ICU and in-house lab for more critical patients. There is a separate surgery suite (equipped with laser), specialized dentistry equipment, ultrasound room, full pharmacy and grooming salon.
