Essential Functions
Lead, coach, and develop a team
Consistently demonstrates effective communication skills in all directions
Consistently achieve financial, sales, and set KPI goals
Oversee day-to-day operations of Optical office
Consistently model the way relative to Organization’s Culture, Ethics, and Standards
Effectively manage all patient concerns
Effectively execute all administrative tasks associated with the Store Manager position
Conduct training for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff
Oversee the processing of insurance and billing for the office
Oversee cash and monies collected with daily reconcilement
Bank deposits made timely per policy
Responsible as primary key holder for the location
Assist the Doctor with patients; obtaining patient prescriptions and ability to interpret prescription while making recommendations to support patient needs
Recommending frames, ophthalmic lenses, and/or contact lenses that suit the patient’s visual needs, style, face, and specifications
Adjusting and fitting frames according to prescription and customer specification
Performing minor repairs
Educating customers on how to wear and maintain glasses
Preparing work orders for manufacturing of the proper lenses
Performing administrative duties, such as managing prescriptions, customer records, and insurance
Requirements
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of previous experience in the Optical, Medical, or Retail Industry
Working knowledge of computers
Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Self-motivation with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent customer service and sales ability
Diligence

The compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
