The student success team in the College of Natural Sciences at South Dakota State University (SDSU) continuously evolves to meet the needs and support of our students. We are growing our team and seeking a Student Success Technician to play a pivotal role in outreach, recruitment, and student support. KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will support College of Natural Sciences student success and recruitment activities. This professional will assist in outreach, recruitment, first year seminars, internship coordination, section management, student enrollment & registration, and new technology integration into student services and the curriculum.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Education, Natural Sciences, or related field completed by start date.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience leading academic and student success processes such as graduation audits, section management, and student & faculty communications regarding course registration and section management.
- Experience supporting and creating new and innovative approaches to teaching and student success through new & emerging technologies. Specifically experience deploying, developing and testing for VR/AR.
- Experience building systems to communicate and coordinate training, job/research/internships opportunities for undergraduate students in STEM using desire to learn, handshake and other institutional software.
- Experience working with teachers, students, and administrators to create and deploy hands-on, engaging science focused outreach activities using new and emerging technologies.
