Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and assist in procedures under the supervision of a dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Take and develop x-rays to assist in treatment planning
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Counsel patients on dental health and hygiene
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Current RI state license to practice dental hygiene
- CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
