South College invites applications for the position of Nursing Clinical Coordinator at the South College Orlando campus. We are searching for a team-oriented, highly organized and focused professional who proactively problem solves with accountability and focuses on continued process improvements.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Initiate and/or maintain relationships with clinical sites and clinical site contracts.

2. Coordinate all rotations of students through clinical sites.

3. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clinical agency management and staff.

4. Organize procedures for the orientation of students and faculty to clinical sites.

5. Ensure all required documentation is obtained for all students and faculty prior to clinical assignments.

6. Disseminate all required and requested documents to clinical agencies prior to the start of clinical assignments.

7. Utilize required clinical and academic data management systems (Advantage Students, ACEMAPP, Simplr, CampusVue, Canvas, etc.) with expertise and train students/faculty as needed.

8. Coordinate the timely evaluation of student/faculty clinical performance and site evaluations.

9. Serve as a liaison between the Nursing Programs (BSN, LPN to BSN, and LPN) and the clinical sites.

10. Provide faculty and students with up-to date changes in clinical requirements, procedures at clinical sites, etc.

11. Plan, organize, and attend clinical affiliation and Program Advisory Committee meetings.

12. Lead and assist with clinical site evaluation.

13. Assist with curricular/policy changes and departmental planning/ evaluation as requested by CCNE, the Associate Dean of Nursing, and the Dean of Nursing.

Job Requirements

· Highly organized and focused professional who proactively problem solves with accountability and focuses on continued process improvements.

· Able to work independently as well as with a group to meet deadlines.

· Active, unencumbered registered nursing license in the state.

· Minimum of 2 years working as a registered nurse required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience teaching undergraduate nursing students preferred.
  • Experience with clinical and academic data management systems (Advantage Students, ACEMAPP, Simplr, CampusVue, Canvas, etc.) preferred.
