We are seeking reliable and committed individuals to join our planer department to help manufacture high-quality wood products. Our entry-level positions include job duties that enable new hires to better understand our product offerings and learn proper handling techniques associated with those products.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
» Accurately identify, remove, & neatly stack lumber based on grade and length as it travels down a conveyor (the majority of the lumber is automatically stacked)
» Paper wrap dry units of lumber to protect them from the elements
» Perform utility clean up around work areas to maintain a safe environment
» Work collaboratively in a team environment
» Solid hand-eye coordination & attention to detail are critical
» Follow all safety protocols and procedures
» Must demonstrate the ability to consistently meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards
» Perform other necessary duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Our mills (2) are located within the Brookings, Oregon area. We have a sawmill and veneer plant located on the north side of town while our plywood mill and LVL mill are right in the middle of town. We also have two distribution locations, one in Merlin, Oregon, and the other outside of Eureka, California. Sourcing raw materials from our local timberland while manufacturing each product and component in our own facilities ensures availability and consistent quality through vertical integration.
