We are a long established church in downtown Portsmouth seeking responsible, reliable people to work as event attendants for scheduled occasions at the church that may include concerts, large meetings, weddings or memorial services. The attendant opens the building and sets the sound, light and temperature levels for the group. There may be some limited table and chair setup. The attendant remains on hand for the duration of the event and assists the group with any requests or questions. The attendant will make sure the building is closed down properly and secured at the end of the event.

Pay is $20 per hour and events are scheduled well ahead of time. There are usually 2-4 events each month, but it fluctuates through the year. The shift length varies and may be 3 - 8 hrs, usually afternoon or evening. It is not necessary to attend every event, but consistent availability will be a consideration.
