FULL-TIME DISPATCHER / SCHEDULER NEEDED!!!
South Central Transit is now accepting applications for a FULL-TIME DISPATCHER / SCHEDULER for our Centralia location.
At SCT , our dispatchers / schedulers are a reflection of our organization's commitment to safety and customer service.
This position is Monday-Friday with a varying shift schedule.
All dispatchers / schedulers are required to complete a pre-employment drug screen as well as participate in drug and alcohol testing program.

Qualifications
- High School diploma / GED / other related experience
- Computer knowledge and keyboarding skills of 40 wpm
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good judgement and decision making
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting daily and future transportation operations
- Relaying information in a fast-paced environment
- Overseeing the routes and ensuring on-time performance
- Assigning drivers and buses to routes
- Monitoring drivers' locations and trips performed
- Handling heavy incoming call volume

- Starting wage of $17 per hour with a 50 cent increase upon completion of a 90 day probationary period
