South Carolina Association of Community Action Partnerships is a small business in Columbia, SC. We are professional, agile, innovative and our goal is to S.C.A.C.A.P. a statewide nonprofit community-based organization that aims to develop and support programs to promote self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for income-eligible children, youth, individuals, and families. S.C.A.C.A.P. serves as a State clearinghouse or hub for the Community Action, Head Start, and Weatherization Networks that provides various programs and services to meet the needs of our targeted population, such as comprehensive early care, housing, energy assistance and efficiency programs, crisis and case management, employment, income management Nutrition, youth, and senior programs, and a myriad of other programs. S.C.A.C.A.P. advocates for policies that strengthen program services and coordinate extensive training, professional development, statewide data compilation and analysis, reporting, communication and marketing, resource and partnership development, research and strategic planning, statewide outreach and education, and a plethora of other services to build the capacity to enrich service delivery. S.C.A.C.A.P. also implements statewide community-based programming and is currently a grant recipient of an Early Head Start-Child Care Partnership Program in 8 counties throughout S.C., a Senior Digital Ready@50 Program, Diaper Demonstration and Research Pilot Grant (Statewide Diaper D. A. S. H. Collaborative Project), an Affordable Connectivity Program, Aging In Place Project, COVID V.O.I.C.E.S. Project, Organizing for Outreach Project & a Healthy Home Production Grant..

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspect the levels of agency property and materials to identify shortages
  • Ensure inventory is adequate for all departments and follow up with a monthly report to management or as requested.
  • Inspect vehicles and logs as directed
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
  • Use software to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory
  • Place orders to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs
  • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
  • Collaborate with employees and other staff to ensure department goals are met.
  • Outlines the tasks involved in the project.
  • Attend training and other related meetings required and directed
  • Assist Manager with Health and Safety inspections of program equipment to make sure it meets mandatory guidelines
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
