Pay: $16.00
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Mon-Fri)
Position Summary:
- Maintain and preserve all flooring and covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping.
- Clean and sanitize rest rooms and associated fixtures.
- Wash walls, windows and woodwork; dust desks, bookshelves, cabinets and other office furniture.
- Collect and dispose of all trash, litter and other debris.
- Sweep and clean exterior steps, entrances, landings, and walkways.
- Maintain the cafeteria in a clean, orderly and safe manner at all times; refresh after group or community meetings.
- Maintain the lobby in a clean, orderly and safe manner at all times.
- Mix and use basic cleaning compounds, waxes and disinfectants in compliance with center program; knowledge of material safety data sheet (MSDS).
- Supervise students assigned custodial duties on center; develop student work assignments and follow‑up to ensure students are performing their assigned tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance as assigned; assists with building maintenance, as needed.
