We are seeking either a Histotechnologist, Histotech, or Histotech Trainee to join our Histology department at Central Lab!

Essential functions:

Responsible for routine accessioning, gross room assist, processing, embedding, sectioning, staining and labeling of surgical and autopsy specimens.

Performs high complexity testing and special staining as assigned under the direction of appropriate personnel.

Prepares reagents and dilutions for special stains and performs special stains, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence stains. 

Performs Gross room duties as assigned.

Performs grossing of small biopsies and the responsibilities of CLIA testing personnel for high complexity testing.
