Pre-Certification Coordinator

Job Summary: The pre-certification coordinator is responsible for the verification of insurance coverage and benefits and obtaining pre-certification of surgeries and procedures, determines out of pocket expenses for surgeries and office visits, coordinates with patients the collections of out of pocket expenses.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two (2) years billing and/or coding experience in medical office. 
• Must be able to manage high volumes of work within strict deadlines and perform duties without prompting and with very little supervision.

• Electronic medical record preferred.

• CPC preferred
