The Dishwasher is responsible for providing clean and sanitized dishes for the service to both the patients of the hospital as well as the cafeteria customers. The Dishwasher cleans and sanitizes all cooking utensils and cookware that is used by the cook staff during their meal preparation. In addition, they can be asked to perform a variety of routine duties related to the preparation and serving of food. The Dishwasher is responsible for assisting with the cleanliness of the serving areas, kitchen, cafeteria, and dining room. Assists with trash removal as necessary. Records dish machine and 3 compartment sink temperatures in accordance with the local Health Department requirements.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Desirable characteristics include some experience in food service operation.
