Sourcebooks offers a 10- week PAID, IN-PERSON internship at our Naperville, IL offices in our Content Delivery Department.  Interns are given the opportunity to get hand-on, intensive exposure, experience, and tools to help you learn about a career in book publishing.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Publishing Design Intern. This role is prefect for someone with a strong interst in design, basic sklls in Adobe Creative Cloud, and a meticulous apprach to detail. The internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about all aspects of book design including layout, manufacturing, production editorial and more:
Qualifications:

• Strong interest in design and a basic understanding of design principles
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

• Currently enrolled in a relevant design or related program (preferred)
• Portfolio or examples of previous design work (if applicable)
• Strong communication skills

Program duration: runs 10 weeks from June 4, 2024 – August 9, 2024

• Summer interns will work 20-24 hours per week over Tuesday- Thursday each week on-site in Naperville, Illinois. 
• Interns are compensated $15/hour.

Eligible Candidates:

• Current college junior, college senior or recent graduate
