Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Consultant. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication and sales skills who is passionate about real estate.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
- Conduct property tours, highlighting the features and benefits of each unit
- Provide accurate information about rental availability, lease terms, and application process
- Process rental applications, including verifying applicant information and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately
- Collect and process rental payments from tenants
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain organized and up-to-date leasing files and records
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an office or customer service role is preferred
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations with professionalism
- Strong customer relationship management skills to build rapport with tenants
- Basic understanding of real estate administrative processes
- Excellent sales abilities to effectively promote available properties
