Our summer internship program is a 10-week paid internship starting in June and ending in August based out of our NYC, LA, and/or London offices. Our DEI-focused program is designed to create sustainable pipelines to invest in SoundCloud’s future, discover new, diverse talent at all levels, and develop future leaders who will contribute to all business areas. 

Interns will be fully immersed in the team, receiving opportunities to enhance their skills, contribute to our mission, and prepare for a full-time role. Furthermore, interns will receive various professional and personal development opportunities, like mentorship programming, fireside chats with senior leadership, innovative stretch assignments, and the chance to participate in networking events with other SoundCloud employees across the organization.

SoundCloud is looking for a Product Growth Marketing Analytics Intern to join the Product Growth Marketing team. They will work with the Campaign Optimization Manager and the Senior Data Analyst to create tools and dashboards that can help us understand the efficacy of our marketing tactics.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn how marketing data works at SoundCloud including when we rely third party data and when we rely on internal data
• Assist in auditing recently implemented marketing systems such as AppsFlyer and MoEngage focusing on whether the data is accurately representing our business
• Create dashboards using AppsFlyer, MoEngage, Data Studio, and/or Looker to help us understand how the business is performing and identify areas we need to focus on
• Monitor the performance marketing space and suggest new tactics we should try to maximize our spend

Who You Are

• Currently a student or recent graduate from an accredited university (Graduation date between Dec 2023 - May 2025 preferred) 
• Have a working familiarity with SQL or be able to learn SQL based on previous programming work
• Have experience with visualization tools such as Data Studio, Looker or Tableau
• Comfortable manipulating large data sets in Big Query
• Extremely comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets including using advanced analysis techniques such as pivot tables and working with cell reference functions such as INDEX MATCH
• Love music and want to help others discover their next favorite track

Internship applications must be submitted by March 29th, 2024. 

The summer internship program will be 10-weeks from June 3rd, 2025 - August 9th, 2024. This is a full-time internship and will be hybrid based out of our NYC office. In-person attendance will be expected 2-3 times a week.

The salary for interns based out of our New York or Los Angeles offices will be $6950 paid over the course of the 10-weeks.
