Moonlight Studios NYC is a turn-key event venue in the heart of New York City, known for hosting a wide range of events, from fashion shows to corporate gatherings. We are seeking a talented and creative Event Photographer to capture the essence and moments of these events.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Attend Sound Investment events in and around New York to photograph our AV services/contributions to experiential events, corporate conferences, non-profit galas, discussion panels, art exhibitions, holiday parties, product launches, etc.
• Photograph events held at Moonlight Studios NYC, including but not limited to fashion shows, corporate events, product launches, and more.
• Capture high-quality, candid, and posed shots that showcase the event's atmosphere, attendees, and details.
• Work closely with event organizers and clients to understand their photography requirements and expectations.
• Use professional-grade camera equipment, lighting, and editing software to produce exceptional photographs.
• Edit and retouch photos as needed to ensure the highest quality images.
• Ensure timely delivery of edited photos to clients.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with event attendees and clients.
• Collaborate with other photographers or event staff as needed to cover various aspects of the event.
• Assist in setting up and arranging any necessary photography equipment.
• Adhere to all event guidelines, schedules, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an event photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in using digital cameras and related equipment.
• Knowledge of photography software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and framing.
• Ability to work in different lighting conditions and adapt to various event settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as events may require.
• Own and maintain your camera and photography equipment.
• Prior experience with event photography in a similar setting is a plus.
