In our back up care department,we specialize in providing on demand, back up and temporary childcare tofamilies. As a member of our back upcare team, and an employee of Sound Care Agency, one day you could be caringfor a school age child out on school break, one day you could be caring forbrand new infant twins and another day you could be watching a few children ata fantastic hotel. The adventures are truly endless!

And we make it easy for you. Ourprocess allows you to set your own schedule and only accept the jobs that fitwithin your own set parameters. The short of it is this, being a SCA back upcare nanny allows you to dictate the when, the where, the with who and the howoften you work. 

THE DETAILS

Location: Here are just a few ofthe cities we serve: San Francisco, Alameda, Berkeley, Burlingame, CastroValley, Daly City, Dublin, Fremont, Menlo Park, Milpitas, Oakland, Palo Alto,Pleasant Hill, Redwood City, Richmond, San Bruno, San Carlos, San Mateo, SanRamon, Union City and Walnut creek. We have work close to YOU!

Start Date: On or anytime after June1^st

Children: Our nannies can expectto care for 1-4 children in a home (or hotel) setting ranging in ages fromnewborn to teen.We are currently notproviding any sick care and we do not provide care to children with specialneeds (specifically children whose caregivers need specialized training toprovide care)

 Hours: You choose! We have shiftsavailable to fit every schedule (weekdays, weekends, mornings, evenings andeverything in between). Our only scheduling requirement is that you work atleast 2 shifts/month.Because you are incharge of your own schedule, you also never have to ask to take time off.

 Compensation: $25/hr (you will behired as a W2 employee by Sound Care Agency) and unlimited overtime at $37.50/hr

 Duration: We are looking fornannies that can commit to us for at least 2 months (summer nannies and studentMORE than welcome!) - and hopefully well beyond.

 Experience: Our nannies must haveat least 2 years of professional childcare experience. We are looking forcaregivers that are a shining example of what a true nanny is. We work withnannies that can not only meet the physical needs of the kids in their care(changing diapers, feeding, putting down for naps/sleep), but who come to thetable with ideas on creative ways to engage with children.

Requirements

In addition to what we outlinedabove, in order to join our amazing team, you must:

• Have at least 2 year of professional childcare experience
• Be TrustLine registered
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for providing families with exceptional childcare
• Have Stellar (and reachable) references
• Be HIGHLY responsible, dependable, patient, nurturing, trustworthy and FUN!
• Have daily internet, phone/text and email access
• Have a reliable car to get you to/from assignments in a timely manner (no on-the-job driving will be required)
• Physically be able to lift 50 lbs., sprint short distances, get easily up from and down to floor, etc.
• Be willing to wear a mask on the job
• Be willing to provide a copy of your responsible driving record (while no on the job driving will be required, we must have this for insurance purposes). There is a $13 fee for this report
• Be Infant and Child CPR/First Aid Certified (or be willing to renew before the start of employment at your own expense)
• Be willing to submit to a thorough annual Background check
• Be legally eligible to work in the US
• Be Fluent in English (spoken and written)
