Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients as needed.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals, and assist with feeding if necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities and observations.
• Monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior and report concerns to supervisory staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure the well-being of clients and oneself.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
• Prior experience as a caregiver or in a related field desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Empathy, patience, and compassion towards individuals requiring care.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver clients, and perform tasks such as bending and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Successful completion of background check and health screenings.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
