Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager of our TEA HOUSE to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing the store team, ensuring excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining store profitability. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and a proven track record of success in store management. Passion for Japanese culture is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Recruit, interview, and hire new employees as needed
- Create work schedules and assign tasks to staff members
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries in a professional manner
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in tea business is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual language skills (preferred if speak Japanese)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial principles
- Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions based on trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
