Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
As a coffee barista, your responsibilities will be:
- Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Operating espresso machines, coffee equipment, and smoothie blenders
- Stocking paper goods, coffee, espresso, and food stations as needed
- Using a deli slicer, oven, convection microwave, or steamer. etc. mandatory.
- Assisting customers in choosing beverages and pastries
- Handling cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Upholding food safety standards at all times
- Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus
- Ability to handle cash transactions with precision
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment
