Sony Honda Mobility of America Inc, based in Culver City, CA, is a subsidiary of Sony Honda Mobility Inc headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. As a 50/50 joint venture between Sony and Honda, SHM was established in Japan on September 28th, 2022, with over 200 employees in Tokyo. Sony Honda Mobility of America, situated in Culver City, California, was established in March 2023, where our dedicated team is working on introducing the electric vehicle, AFEELA, to the market. Position Summary

SHMA is looking for a Parts Supply team member in Culver City, CA. As a Parts Supply member at SHMA you will be responsible for ensuring that parts and components are needed for customer service (after sales) and for aftermarket accessories. Your role will be responsible for supplying parts based on orders from customers, which will be our service providers, and in their locations. As a member of the team, you will also be responsible for the coordination of the transportation from the factory to the warehouse and the transportation arrangements from the warehouse to the service locations.

Job Responsibilities

• Create supply chain from the suppliers to the service locations and create basic digital system with the vendor for ordering and delivering.
• Ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of parts.
• Manage and monitor inventory based on the numbers of service operations.
• Use tracking tools and programs to maintain inventory and delivery.
• Identify ways to improve and optimize costs.
• Ensure compliance and regulation related to the sourcing of parts.
• Report regularly on items such as inventory, procurement, and supplier performance

Qualifications for Position

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive aftersales field (spare parts, after sales parts, EV automotive experience is a nice to have!)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Automotive skills and knowledge of electric vehicle components is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $83,000 to $100,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
