Job Description

• 8 years hands-on Java Development in in a Web services environment

• 3 year leading team of 5 developers

• 3 year work experience in Agile Scrum team

• Core Java

• Strong J2EE in XML, JMS, JAX-WS, CXF

• Spring Framework

• Strong understanding of OOP &SOA

• Design Patterns

• Java concurrency, concurrency patterns

• Experience building thread safe code

• JUnit/Mockito, Cucumber

• Experience with IDEs such as RAD/Eclipse

• Experience building REST and SOAP web services

• Experience with MQ

• SQL/PL-SQL in DB2, MySQL

• Experience with ORM tools such as iBatis and Hibernate

• Experience with scripting and working in a Linux environment

• Experience working in an Agile environment

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with tuning high volume applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Good To Have Experience with:

• Spring Boot

• Spring Cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 8 years of experience within the Information Technologies.
