About us:

• Steel fabrication and installation company providing steel products for both construction and non-construction applications large and small.
• Structural and Ornamental.
• Monday through Thursday. Winter hours 6 AM to 4:30 PM. Summer hours 5 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Open air shop working environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Manage work in progress and maintain shop schedule and production.
• Varied activities multiple, simultaneous projects.
• Plan and direct layout of equipment, workflow, and assembly methods.
• Review and approve employee’s hours in QuickBooks Workforce
• Perform standard layouts and set-ups of dimensions and tolerances.
• Lead safety meetings.
• Provide guidance, assistance, and training to less experienced and new employees.
• Recommend changes in schedule, methods, procedures, and improvements where needed for the project.
• Complete tasks utilizing laptop for CNC files and EPM PowerFab Tekla.
• Oversee all personnel issues to include performance, employee relation issues and disciplinary process in conjunction with company policies and management.
• Perform cutting, fitting, and welding tasks.

Qualifications

• Steel shop management experience.
• Steel welding and fabricating experience, to include structural and ornamental steel, such as stairs, handrails, embeds, canopies, beams, columns, etc.
• Bilingual - Spanish (preferred)
• High school diploma (or equivalent), or higher education
• Active driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to/from work in Apache Junction, AZ
• Must be able to complete criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
