Sonoran Science Academy-Tucson East , provides a rigorous, college prep, STEM-focused education through a challenging comprehensive curriculum and continuous assessment for grades K-8. We are looking for dedicated teachers who are passionate about student learning, as well as the ability to impact the whole child through inspiring lessons, staff leadership of student extracurricular activities, continuous professional growth and collaboration among staff.

We are currently recruiting for two Janitors

Janitor - Full Time afternoon night shift

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, and refinish floors
• Clean, dust, polish furniture, HVAC vents, window blinds
• Clean windows, doors, walls, blinds, etc.; removing dirt, markings from interior
• Clean restrooms, empty trash, refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels,
• Ensure all areas of the building are clean, sanitary and orderly
• Set up and clean up for lunch service
• Clean the cafeteria before, during and after lunch
• Pick up litter on school grounds
• Assure safety during inclement weather to include providing slip protection on wet floors, securing against wind damage, removing debris from downspouts when clogged
• Assist as needed: moving furniture, unloading deliveries, cleaning unexpected spill, vomit, toilet issues, etc.
• Advise facilities of any mechanical or building maintenance needs
• Other duties as assigned
