While reporting to the Associate Director of HR Technology, you will serve as subject matter expert and technical point-of-contact for Workday to ensure data integrity, configuration & testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. You will support the on-going administration, maintenance, and management of Sonoco’s HRIS (Workday) in addition to other HR related systems.

• Support Workday configuration roadmap, releases, and continued adoption
• Collaborate with Sonoco’s Continuous Improvement Team to identify and execute opportunities for improvement within the HR organization
• Provide consulting services to HR Centers of Excellence in as it’s applicable to using Workday to manage their business processes
• Manage projects for various functional areas within Workday
• Other technical projects as assigned

This position is located in beautiful Hartsville, SC at our Global Headquarters.

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 4 years of experience with HCM systems is preferred
• 3 years of experience with Workday HCM is preferred
• Project management experience is preferred
• Experience working in a global organization is highly desired
• We’d like you to have strong Workday business knowledge in HR processes and policies, including but not limited to: Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Organizational Development, and Talent Acquisition

This is a progression position and could be a level II, III, or IV. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs.
