Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will provide support to the dentist and help deliver quality dental care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

SIGN ON BONUS

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, sterilizing instruments, and passing instruments to the dentist
- Provide chairside assistance by suctioning, retracting tissues, and applying topical anesthetics
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Take accurate medical documentation and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
- Maintain infection control protocols by sterilizing equipment and disinfecting treatment areas
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient care

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not required
- Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and anatomy
- Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as Epic
- Proficiency in using CAD software for digital impressions is a plus
- Experience working with pediatric patients is desirable
- X-Ray certification is required

Pay: $21.06 - $25.36 per hour
