The Credentialing Intern at Sono Bello is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the credentialing and privileges for all physicians and clinical staff who provide patient care. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in the maintenance of privileges.
• Reviews and analyzes medical team member information for accuracy and completeness.
• Research on state license and scope of practice requirements.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with physician information.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current enrollment at an accredited institution.
• Must have excellent research skills.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills and utilization of MS Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters appropriately.
• Strong organizational skills: ability to multitask and manage priorities; meet deadlines
• Professional and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate compared to a private office with light traffic and
computer printers. They may be required to work at our office located in Scottsdale, AZ.

COMPENSATION:

This is a Non-Exempt position with an hourly range of $15.00 - $20.00, depending on experience. #L1-MW1
