As a Flex Team employee, you will have the ability to work as a Qualified Medication Aide at multiple communities within the Indianapolis market and will have the accessibility to pick up shifts according to your availability. This position will have the flexibility to work up to 30 hours per week.

Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) Responsibilities include:

• As a QMA, you will be responsible for setting up and administering resident medications as ordered by physicians and per professional standards of medication administration
• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine; recording intake and output information
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor

Education and Experience:

• Preferred knowledge and experience in senior living.
• High school graduate or GED required.
