*This is a hybrid role that would require two days a week in our Dallas office. 

Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist is responsible for producing monthly resident billing statements and completing month-end procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Electronic records for multiple properties (10-15) in Yardi Voyager Senior Housing system, including census activity, payment posting, and ancillary charge entry in order to produce monthly billing statements and complete the month end process.
• Effectively communicating with community and regional leadership as well as corporate office staff to obtain documentation required for record keeping.
• Ensuring that documentation and data entry into Yardi Voyager is in accordance with company policy and procedures for SOX compliance.
• Assisting the Medicaid Billing Coordinator with MCO and State Billing and follow up in multiple States.

Education and Experience:

• Three or more years in accounts receivable billing, preferably for multi-location senior housing or multifamily housing.

Skill/knowledge requirements:

• Must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Yardi Senior Housing experience ideal; knowledge of LTC or assisted living Medicaid a plus.
• Great communication skills are a must.
• Public company experience is preferred.
