The manager is someone who thrives on challenges and continually looks for opportunities to learn. They are enthusiastic and passionate about providing guests with the best hospitality experience possible. This position is accountable for opening and closing the restaurant as needed. The manager will provide ongoing support to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager when in the restaurant. They are as comfortable takingresponsibility as they are delegating it. They are friendly, positive, and enthusiastic.
Requirements/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:• Directs and supervises restaurant hourly team members on assigned shifts to ensure product quality,operational efficiency, and optimum guest service.• Assists in planning and supervising completion of all job task assignments and ensures adherence withsafety, food safety, sanitation, and security procedures.• Utilize all company-training tools to provide hourly team members with training in all aspects of therestaurant operation.• Assist the management team in maintaining restaurant equipment and facility per company guidelines;contacts General Manager to inform them about needed repairs to equipment in the restaurant.• Performs regular administrative tasks including Register and safe audits, a deposit of company funds,proper accounting of restaurant funds, and reporting of all guest and employee accidents. Investigatesresolves and responds to guest complaints.• Attend regularly scheduled store, market, and company meetings, and training sessions and stay currentwith all federal, state, and local certifications (alcohol, food safety, etc.).• Always monitors the interior/exterior cleanliness of the restaurant and initiates clean-up as needed.• Performs other related activities in accordance with policies and procedures.Job Requirements:• At least 6 months of restaurant experience.• Must pass a background check.• Must be 21 years or older.• Must have good customer service skills and be able to perceive and react to the needs ofothers.• Must have good written and oral communication skills.• Must complete Shift/Team Leader training.• Demonstrates professional behavior.• Exemplifies uniform standards; well-groomed and model OTB standards.• Able to successfully perform the job duties of various hourly positions.• Physically able to meet the demands of the position; extensive walking; lifting over 40lbs.
