The Install Technician is responsible for traveling to various sites to execute the installation, upgrading, and maintenance of technology-based systems such as counters, game systems, jukeboxes, camera systems, and more. This role involves performing site surveys, providing repair services, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive, energetic demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel to clients all over Texas sites to install, upgrade, and oversee the setup of various technology-based systems, including but not limited to game systems, jukeboxes, camera systems, and POS systems.
Execute the removal of equipment when necessary.
Perform detailed site surveys and provide consulting for planning future installations.
Provide timely service and repairs to maintain optimal system performance across the expanded territory.
Track inventory, ensuring equipment and parts are available as needed.
Participate in warehouse operations, demonstrating an understanding of inventory management and logistics.
Exhibit a positive attitude and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Ensure the maintenance and care of company equipment, vehicles, and décor.
Adhere to safety standards and protocols while lifting and moving equipment weighing 20-30 pounds and up to 130 pounds with a second person.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in field service, particularly with technology-based systems.
Basic construction experience.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting equipment weighing 20-30 pounds, and up to 130 pounds with a second person.
Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory and warehouse operations (preferred).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
Technical acumen with the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic systems.
Availability to travel extensively across the service territory several days each week.
