Wellness Nurse
Part Time (7am-3pm)
Location: Winter Garden - Serenades, FL, 34787
The Wellness Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care and support to residents in a senior living community. The nurse will work closely with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive high-quality care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assess residents' health status and develop care plans that meet their individual needs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the Director of Nursing
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Document all care provided and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
- Active nursing license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a senior living or long-term care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
