Wellness Nurse

7am-3pm Fulltime

Location: Winter Garden - Serenades, FL, 34787

The Wellness Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care and support to residents in a senior living community. The nurse will work closely with the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive high-quality care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess residents' health status and develop care plans that meet their individual needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes to the Director of Nursing
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide emotional support to residents and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing nursing practice

Requirements:

• Current nursing license in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing practice
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
