Sompo Horizon is Hiring a Salesforce Developer Near Charlotte, NC

PLEASE NOTE: this position is for a hybrid working arrangement, with regular weekly in-person attendance required at our Charlotte, NC office. This opportunity is only for applicants living in or planning to live in the Charlotte area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a track record of success and innovation in Salesforce configuration and development. As a member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining customized solutions using Salesforce functionality, including Lightning web Components (LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, SOSL, Triggers, Batch classes, and declarative platform tools. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related JS frameworks will be essential in creating seamless user experiences within the Salesforce ecosystem. In addition to technical proficiency, you will have a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, architecture, design, development, administration, and security models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure custom solutions using Salesforce functionality, including Lightning web Components (LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, SOSL, and Triggers.

  • Utilize declarative platform tools such as Flows and Lightning App Builder to create intuitive user interfaces and streamline business processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build complex reports, dashboards, and data visualization solutions within Salesforce and Tableau.

  • Extend your expertise to Experience Cloud (Communities), SFDC Communities, e-commerce, and internal sites to enhance user experiences.

  • Work with Salesforce clouds such as Sales, Service, Commerce, Health, and Marketing to implement tailored solutions.

  • Implement CI/CD DevOps processes and tools for Salesforce to streamline development and deployment workflows.

  • Utilize Slack Messaging and Integration to enhance communication and collaboration within the organization.

  • Employ version control software like GIT to manage codebase and ensure code quality and consistency.

  • Develop and implement integration solutions using Salesforce APIs, middleware, and web services to facilitate seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external systems.

  • Perform data mapping and transformation activities to ensure data consistency and compatibility across integrated systems.

  • Conduct comprehensive integration testing to verify data accuracy, system performance, and overall functionality.

  • Implement error handling mechanisms and proactive monitoring processes to identify and address integration issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 8 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and configuration.

  • Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related JS frameworks.

  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce.com best practices, architecture, design, development, administration, and security models.

  • Experience with Experience Cloud (Communities), SFDC Communities, e-commerce, and internal sites.

  • Proficiency in building complex reports and dashboards within Salesforce and Tableau.

  • Experience in at least two of these Salesforce clouds: Sales, Service, Commerce, Health, Marketing.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD DevOps processes and tools for Salesforce.

  • Experience with Slack Messaging and Integration.

  • Ability to use version control software such as GIT.

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification.

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification.
