Job Description

Transcend is seeking a Customer Support Specialist looking for an opportunity to be part of a growing customer support team for an industry leading respiratory medical device company.

This position contributes to our goal of providing our customers with superior experiences through proactive communication and managing the buying experience from order receipt through end user support.

Pay for this position will be $23 /hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Provide technical troubleshooting for our CPAPs and accessories
  • Update our internal Salesforce database with information about technical issues and customer discussions
  • Document and report product issues in our complaint database
  • Generate and distribute required reports
  • Track purchase orders, acting as liaison between sales, production, customer service and shipping
  • Other duties as needed to support business growth

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2 Year Associates Degree or equivalent customer service experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following is required: inside sales administration, customer order entry and facilitation, complex customer service support or experience supporting sales efforts of a B2B sales team

Required Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to communicate well and build trust at all organizational levels
  • Creative, flexible, organized, and able to multitask
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Computer skills – specifically Excel, Power Point, Word and Outlook
