Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at our restaurant in Pembroke Ma. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or requests promptly
- Handle cash transactions using the cash register and POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Assist with setting up tables and preparing the restaurant for service
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Server or in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of Spot On POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
