Reading Teacher:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reading Teacher to join our team. As a Reading Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to help students reach their full potential.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid FLDOE teaching certificate.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Duties:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.
• Assess student progress through various methods, such as tests, projects, and observations.
• Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Use technology effectively to enhance learning experiences.
• Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of literacy education and early childhood development.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders.
• Experience in tutoring or mentoring students is a plus.
• Knowledge of early intervention strategies is beneficial.
