Somerset College Prep Academy is Hiring a Part-time Science Teacher Near Port Saint Lucie, FL

Somerset College Preparatory Academy is currently looking for a part-time Science Teacher for the 24-25 school year! We are located in Port St. Lucie, only 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach. Port St. Lucie is one of the largest growing cities in the US according to the 2020 census. We are expecting to grow from our current 1300 student population to 1500 for the upcoming school year. We are looking for candidates who are ready to join our amazing team and help us with providing aspiring young minds with the opportunity and skills to become competitively successful individuals in a global society. St. Lucie County’s Somerset schools are serviced by Academica, one of the nations longest serving and most successful charter school support and service organizations. SCPA is “A” rated and is the highest performing high school in the county.

If you hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, a Florida professional teaching certificate and have a desire to see your students succeed, then we’d love to meet with you.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors, a Florida teaching certificate and have the ability to pass a drug test and level 2 clearance. Experience is a plus but not required.
