We are currently looking for a full-time technician who will work side-by-side with our engineers and researchers to support metal powder production for our innovative spinoff business, Powders on Demand. A day in this position will start with a quick review between team members of major goals for the day, then working in the lab to process powder for R&D/production efforts. The tasks each day will fluctuate from processing powder, running machines such as furnaces, packaging and shipping orders to maintaining inventory and performing tests to measure material properties. This will be a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong team drive, and an ability to work with your hands and use/learn new tools. The ability to communicate well orally and in written form is critical for this position. This position will be very much hands-on and will require quick decision making in order to achieve efficient execution of our objectives and customer orders.

- Technical mechanical or material experience
- Experience with common manual and power tools
- Experience with machine operation and maintenance
- Attention to detail and ability to get the job done
Advantageous Attributes & Skills
- Experience with metal powder for additive manufacturing

- Quality control experience
- Equipment inspection experience
- Experience in shipping (specifically shipping of hazardous materials)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.50 - $24.00 per hour
