Job Description Summary: The Director Energy Storage is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize energy storage solutions and ensure the efficient and effective operation of energy storage systems. Job Description: *This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions, it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Position Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and execute the company’s energy storage strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives Identify market opportunities for energy storage deployment, including utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial applications. Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams to develop cost effective energy storage solutions and business models. Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards. Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure the necessary resources and expertise for energy storage initiatives. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of energy storage professional, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to energy storage. Objectives or Goals to Measure Performance: Adherence to Company policies and Corporate Procedures Manual Work within SE's business processes and ensure an efficient and safe working environment Project profitability Customer/Client Satisfaction Positive project team attitude Improved personal professional growth and education Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements Minimum 8 to10 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of energy storage and substation projects Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable insights Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently Flexible schedule due to client and project locations Effective written and verbal English communication skills Proficiency and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate Ability to travel as needed Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions: Requires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs Constant finger dexterity and ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perception Occasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed places Occasional exposure to environmental conditions SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity Employer At SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
