Job Description Summary: The Director Energy Storage is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize energy storage solutions and ensure the efficient and effective operation of energy storage systems. Position Responsibilities and Duties: Develop and execute the company’s energy storage strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives Identify market opportunities for energy storage deployment, including utility-scale projects, commercial and industrial applications. Collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams to develop cost effective energy storage solutions and business models. Oversee the design, construction and commissioning of energy storage projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards. Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and partners to secure the necessary resources and expertise for energy storage initiatives. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of energy storage professional, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Represent the company at client meetings, conferences and regulatory proceedings related to energy storage.
