Solutions Community Counciling And Recovery... is Hiring a Mental Health Case Manager Near Lebanon, OH

Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers is looking to add a compassionate member to work out of our Warren County and Clinton County locations.

In this role, you will provide supportive services to individuals with mental illness. You will teach daily living skills and ensure safety and well-being for our clients.

This is a great entry level position for Social Work or Psychology graduates. No nights and no weekends!

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports the mission and follows the procedures and policies of Solutions Community Counseling and Recovery Centers.
  • Provides emotional support by interacting with clients face to face. Ensures progress by monitoring emotional and mental health, treatment plans and other items.
  • Assists client and/or family by securing services and resources including housing, medical treatment, financial assistance and transportation.
  • Collaborates with client and/or family members or client representatives by discussing or responding to treatment plans and other needs. Administers family or group counseling as needed.
  • Advocates for client in community and with other agencies including Human Services, Social Security Administration and County and Common Pleas Courts.
  • Communicates with agency service providers, and other professionals by attending meetings and training sessions.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field. Or a QMHS 3 years experience.
  • Minimum of 3 months experience working in a similar environment.
  • The ability to respond promptly to emergency or crisis situations.
  • Understanding and compassion for both clients and family members.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow up in a timely manner.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptable to teaching various learning styles.

We provide crisis services, outpatient counseling for mental health and alcohol/drug problems, psychiatric (pharmacological management) services, case management and other specialized services.
